Position Database Administrator
Description Dickinson College has an immediate opportunity for a database administrator with 3-5 years of relevant experience to join a team which administers and supports the college’s ERP system, Ellucian (formerly Sungard) Banner.  The ERP environment consists of the core Oracle databases, data warehousing, various ancillary systems, and custom applications.

The primary duties of this position will focus on the following tasks:  1)  Management of Oracle databases; 2) Management of integrations between Banner and ancillary systems; 3) Application maintenance such as installing upgrades, system and database monitoring, performance tuning, capacity planning, database backup and recovery, data architecture, and programming; 4) Participation in an on-call rotation.

Experience and proficiency in Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, UNIX, Linux, and Windows OS is required.  Experience with Ellucian Banner, NolijWeb, NolijTransfer, SQL Server, MySQL, Moodle, and IBM Cognos are desirable.
