President’s Report

On June 22nd 2005 we conducted a Banner 7 Day at La Salle University with over 130 attendees, SCT highlighted the upgrade and discussed in more detail the changes with the new Common Matching solutions.  The day included lunch and Birds-of-a-Feather sessions for each module.

A Technology Day was conducted on June 28th at La Salle University as well.  The agenda included new technical requirements for Banner 7, Oracle 10G database and application server, Luminis Channels, Oracle Sequencing of IDs and PIDMs, and highlights of Banner 8.

The PABUG Conference was held on November 21st and 22nd 2005. The committee board members consisted of:  President Jeff Montgomery (took over for Rose Ann Jubinski who stepped down prior to conference planning), Vice President Bill George, Secretary Manny Pena, and Treasurer Kathy Liberato. Cindy Bilger, Cathy Conor and Fran DiSanti also continued to greatly assist in the planning.

The conference attendance was over 300 each day.  Over 60 sessions were conducted for Advancement, Finance, Financial Aid, Human Resources, Student, Accounts Receivable, Reporting, Technical, Admissions, Luminis, General, and Vendors (Most notably SCT)
