President’s Report

2009 was our tenth Anniversary year. The Conference remained at the Holiday Inn in Grantville.  Participants in this year’s conference represented 51 institutions from 12 states, as well as, two attendees from the University of West Indies in Trinidad and Tobago. Members of the planning committee established a slideshow that ran continuously in the vendor area giving attendees an opportunity to look back at each of 9 preceding conferences.

A very successful two day event was held June 23-24, 2009 at Immaculata University. Day one was APEX/Adobe Flex Technical day and day two, Argos Technical day. The events included consultants from Oracle, SunGard Higher Education, Sumner Technologies and Evisions, as well as presentations from Immaculata University, Swarthmore College, and Lehigh Carbon Community College.

We welcomed four new universities in August 2009 as noted below, bringing our total number of members to 30.
